If you have a time, can you film it? (but don't try to ride it because it sounds unsafe)
Your request is a command for me. I try for March 2013

O yeah, I remember another epic fail elevator is in Melawai Plaza, Blok M. It is a very old and derelict 80's Hitachi elevator. The last time I've saw it has the call buttons missing, indicators broken, and the look of the car itself looks like it gonna fall. Nobody wanted to ride it anymore so it is now abandoned.
Thank you. Will add it soon

Okay. How about the freight elevator at Gajah Mada Plaza you've show me before? Since the vertical doors are stuck.
Hitachi freight elevators are unique. Close button is below call button if there's no one riding it when it's open, but if you press a button it directly closes. Maybe that was maintained by Pillar Elevator since I knew that all malls' elevators managed by LIPPO are maintained by Pillar

Yes, it's located in Plaza 3 Pondok Indah. But I wanna stop this maintenance company conversation here. Anyways, do you have any other epic fails while you're riding elevators in Jakarta?

Fact: did you know that ThyssenKrupp's head office is near the mall (located along T.B. Simatupang Road in Plaza 3 Pondok Indah if I remember)?

ThyssenKrupp (maintain PIM 1's elevators)? I thought all elevators in all their properties are maintained by Schindler. Anyways I'll add the picture to my websites

I've no idea why would ThyssenKrupp maintain all of them.

Anyways regarding to Pondok Indah Malls, I notice that all elevators in malls managed by them should be modernized to Schindler because I found Schindlers in their other properties (Pondok Indah Mall 2 and Puri Indah Mall). I don't have idea why the elevators in PIM 1 are the only elevators kept

Strangely, those elevators at Mall Pondok Indah 1 were maintained by PT. ThyssenKupp Elevator Indonesia. Anyway, here's the picture of the broken emergency buttons in the freight elevator.

The elevators at Mall Pondok Indah 1 has also some epic fails. The main scenic elevator has it's ground floor button kept lights on. And the freight elevator behind Ace Hardware and Agis Electronic is the WORST ever; no door bumpers, floor indicators broken and the emergency buttons (alarm and intercom) are even broken.
Thank you. Will add it soon.
