Here are the security levels for buildings in Jakarta, IndonesiaMalls- You have to undergo a security check at middle-high malls in Jakarta
- 12 of malls in Jakarta have attendants in their elevators
- Some malls are very strict on photography (Pacific Place Jakarta, Plaza Indonesia, Emporium Pluit Mall, etc.)
Hotels- You have to undergo a security check at 4 and 5 stars hotels in Jakarta.
- Some hotels located above a mall, so they would be easy to access and filming elevators there
Apartment- Older apartments in Jakarta have low security level, but newer apartments have restricted access and keycard system.
Offices- Some office buildings in Jakarta also connected to malls (like APL Tower - Central Park Mall Jakarta)
- Older and small office buildings have very strict security.
- Big office buildings (mostly located on Sudirman Rd.) also have strict security, but not as strict as small office buildings
- Newer offices will always have turnstiles, but the turnstiles are opened after 6 PM and on Sunday (if it has church, like Tiberias @BCA Tower)
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport- Photography is allowed through the airport, except in the immigration board (either departures or arrivals).
